We Will Know The End is a photographic documentary project on the daily life, existence, and intimacy of Palestinian women and men in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Brought together through different stories: From the Mountain to the Sea, Raised Among the Olive Trees, and We Will Rise From Violence.

I began this work after the events of October 7, driven by the urgency to document the situation on the ground at a moment of historical fracture, as the violence against the Palestinian people was intensifying.

We Will Know The End is a title that raises a question: the end of what? The end of a conflict more than 75 years old? The end of an apartheid regime? The end of a people deprived of freedom? Or the end of a hope, the hope of a two-state solution, of a sovereign Palestine? Of a culture and an entire people?

My gaze is rooted in this uncertainty, often guided by the darkest vision of these possibilities. Yet what I document is not death, nor the end, quite the opposite. It seeks to make visible a troubled everyday life, persistence, resistance, each person’s intimacy, the connection to the land. Each presence then becomes an act, a memory. This memory becomes collective, adding itself to the edifice of the history of the Palestinian people.

Through these images and the texts that accompany them, I try to make visible the stories of the people I meet, attempting in my own way to show what some seek to render invisible, where the stakes, here, are those of living or dying.

Nous Connaitrons La Fin est un projet documentaire photographique réunis à travers différentes histoires : De la Montagne Jusqu’à la Mer, Grandi Parmi Les Oliviers et De la Violence Ils Sortiront, racontant le quotidien, la vie et l'intimité des Palestiniennes et des Palestiniens en Cisjordanie et à Jérusalem-Est.

J’ai entamé ce travail après les évènements du 7 octobre, poussé par l’urgence de documenter la situation sur place, au moment d’une fracture historique, alors que les violences contre le peuple palestinien s’intensifiaient.

Nous Connaîtrons La Fin est un titre qui soulève une question, la fin de quoi ? Celle d’un conflit vieux de plus de 75 ans ? La fin d’un régime d’apartheid ? La fin d’un peuple privé de liberté ? Ou la fin d’un espoir, celui d’une solution à deux états, d’une Palestine souveraine ? D'une culture et d’un peuple tout entiers ?

Mon regard s’ancre dans cette incertitude, souvent guidé par la vision la plus sombre de ces possibles. Pourtant, ce que je documente n’est pas la mort, ni la fin, bien au contraire. Il cherche à rendre visible un quotidien troublé, la persistance, la résistance, l'intime de chacun et chacune, le lien à la terre. Que chaque présence devienne alors un acte, une mémoire. Cette mémoire devient alors collective, s'ajoutant à l'édifice de l'histoire du peuple palestinien.

À travers ces images et les textes qui les accompagnent, j’essaye de rendre visibles les histoires des gens que je rencontre, tentant à ma manière de montrer ce que certains cherchent à invisibiliser, et dont les enjeux, ici, sont ceux de vivre ou de mourir.
